Welcome

We (Graham and Linda Poole and our three kids, Jasmine, Caleb and Josiah) are an Australian family who have recently moved from Launceston, Tasmania, to the Republic of South Sudan, the world’s newest nation. We are serving with Pioneers Australia as medical missionaries at “His House of Hope”, a new hospital for women and children, located near Yei, in Central Equatoria.

We hope this site will raise awareness of the needs of this nation, and provide ways in which people can partner with us to serve the people of South Sudan. Forty years of civil war has devastated this region of Africa, but with freedom there is hope, and with God there can be healing.

Our purpose is to join with others in re-building South Sudan…

By providing health care to women and children

By promoting the value and values of God-honouring families

By proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, in words and deeds

By praying that God’s Name and His Ways would be honoured

For the benefit of all peoples and for the glory of God!

Would you like to be part of the future of the newest nation on earth? Well, read on, be inspired, and feel free to get involved!
