We had our 500th delivery at His House of Hope in September 2013. Milestones like this allow us to step back in appreciation and gratitude for all that God has done. So many lives have been impacted by the care women and children have received at His House of Hope.
Our monthly delivery numbers are increasing, with September and then October, this year, being our busiest months ever. Many women are attending the antenatal clinic for first visits and we are starting to provide outreach antenatal clinics in outlying villages, who have minimal access to care, to identify high-risk pregnant women who will most benefit from delivering at His House of Hope.
We are thankful to God, the Giver and Sustainer of all life, and for the team of African and missionary staff, who are working hard to make childbirth safer in this country as it rebuilds from the devastation of its recent past and seeks to create a future of hope, freedom and opportunity.
